Join the Elim national day of prayer on 7 January 2021

At the start of the new year, we invite you and your church to join us to pray together as one movement on Thursday 7 January 2021.

As this memorable year comes to an end and we look towards 2021, we remember that 7 January is a notable date in Elim’s history. It was the day that saw the beginning of our Movement over a century ago in 1915.

Elim was birthed in a challenging historical context, but with a demonstration of God’s supernatural love, power and grace.

This year we have all faced our own challenges, yet we have seen God's love impact our lives and communities. As we advance into 2021, may we look forward to seeing a greater demonstration of God’s supernatural love, power and grace to the places and people God has called us.

Join our National Day of Prayer

At the start of the new year, we invite you and your church to take time to put first things first. Let’s pray together as one movement on Thursday 7 January.

God invites us to participate together in his plans and purpose through prayer. As we head into 2021, let’s take hold of this invitation and promise

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3

As we come together to pray, the focus for this national day of prayer will cover these four key themes:

  • Power demonstrated
  • Wisdom received
  • Grace abounds
  • Love expressed

Online prayer events

This day of prayer will include two unified times of prayer hosted online on the Elim YouTube and Facebook channels, along with a special leaders prayer time for our ministers held on a private video conference call.

Morning prayer and communion @ 7.30am - 8.00am

Leaders prayer via video conference @ 1.30pm - 2.30pm

Evening prayer and worship @ 7.30pm - 9.00pm

Will you and your church join us for Elim's national day of prayer on Thursday 7 January 2021?
