Gather and Pray

Gather + Pray: A call to united prayer across Elim

Join churches and leaders across the Elim Movement in united prayer on 6–14 September 2025

As a Movement, we love to pray, because prayer changes things and prayer changes us. Prayer connects us to Jesus, tunes our hearts to the Holy Spirit and aligns us with God’s work in our lives, churches, and communities.

This September, we’re inviting the whole Elim family of leaders, churches, and individuals to come together as part of a National Week of Prayer with many Christian organisations and denominations. It’s a moment to:

  • Build community by praying for and with one another.
  • Seek God together for those who don’t yet know Jesus or return to following Jesus
  • Reflect and respond to God’s call to deeper consecration.

Let’s be a people who pray, because when we do, we join in with what God is already doing to see His Kingdom come.

What is planned during the week of prayer?

From 6–14 September 2025, we’re encouraging the entire Elim Movement to Gather + Pray in homes, churches, small groups, online, and in everyday moments.

This is a week to intentionally pause, listen, and pray for:

  • People in our lives and communities
  • Places where God is moving or where we long to see Him move
  • The future of our churches and the wider Elim Movement

Download our Prayer Guide to help you get started, but we’re also encouraging you to be led by the Holy Spirit in how and what you pray.

How can you get involved?

  • Pray together in households, small groups, Sunday meetings, over lunch, or online.

  • Join our live online prayer gatherings on Elim Prayer UK Instagram on
    Monday 8 September at 7pm
    Wednesday 10 September at 7pm
    Friday 12 September at 7pm.

  • Use our resources: Download our Prayer Guide

  • Watch and share the Praying Forward video series

Let’s be a Movement that prays together, in unity, and with expectation.
