Join Elim churches in September for a national month of prayer

Following the month of prayer in January at the start of Elim's centenary, Elim churches across the movement are joining together in September for a focused month of prayer.

Throughout the month, churches will take time to corporately pray together, as well as encouraging individuals in focused daily prayer.

To assist churches, groups and individuals in their prayers, a new 31-day prayer guide has been produced. This LIFT UP guide is a call to connect with God, to intercede, listen and worship.

"The invitation and call to pray is one we see over and over again in God’s word", says Sarah Whittleston, LIFT UP prayer team. "Yet for many of us we may struggle, forget or be unsure where to start. There is a general feeling that we should pray more and pray better."

"This 31-day prayer guide is a resource to help you to connect intentionally and specifically with God over a 31-day period. It can be used as an individual, with a small group or across a whole church to inspire you to intercede, to wait, to listen, to talk, to worship."

"As you pray you join with countless others across the Elim movement to LIFT UP prayer to our great, loving, powerful and compassionate God. May you know the Holy Spirit’s leading, wisdom, insight and presence."

"It’s a time to activate faith as you pray and outwork your faith in mission to the places God has called you."

"Let's continue to seek God and LIFT UP prayer in this significant year. Join for a day, a week or the whole month of September. Get in touch with us to register and for free resources."
