The Elim Pentecostal Church prays for King Charles III

The National Leadership Team of the Elim Pentecostal Church extends heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty, King Charles III, on the occasion of his Coronation, which will take place on Saturday 6 May.

This historic moment in the life of the nation and the Church is an opportunity for us all to remember our history, celebrate who we are and look to our future with hope.

As the King is anointed and crowned in a Christian act of worship, it is a powerful reminder of the Christian heritage of the United Kingdom and the importance of faith in our nation’s history. It is also a time when we will remember the kingship of Jesus, the ultimate King of Kings.

As a Christian community, we pray that King Charles will be led by wisdom, discernment, and a deep sense of duty. We pray that the Holy Spirit will guide His Majesty and that his reign will be a time of peace, prosperity, and progress for all the people of our nation.
