Are you ready to explore the calling on your life? asked Duncan Clark

Prayers for ordinands as they follow call of God

In June Elim welcomed 30 new ministers to the family at the annual ceremony

On Saturday 10 June at Birmingham City Church, Elim’s newest cohort of ministers were ordained into the movement.

The service recognised the fact that all 30 ordinands – whether from Elim itself or from sister fellowship the Church of Pentecost – had followed God’s call to ministry and blessed them as they embark on this new journey.

During the service, Coventry Elim’s senior pastor Duncan Clark asked, “Are you ready to explore the calling that might be on your life?” and spoke from Jeremiah 1 about what happens when God calls.

And as Elim leaders prayed over each of the ordinands, General Superintendent Chris Cartwright called on the congregation to pray for their local and church communities, that God would move within them during this season.

All 30 ordinands shared video messages during the service.
