Chaplaincy Foundation Course 2025

Whether you're exploring chaplaincy for the first time or looking to deepen your understanding, the Chaplaincy Foundation Course (CFC) is a valuable and accessible introduction to this vital ministry.

Open to ministers, church leaders, and members alike — whether in a paid or voluntary role — this two-day course is designed for anyone sensing a call to serve in chaplaincy, especially in workplace or community settings. Some participants may already have experience; others may simply be curious to explore.

Led by experienced Pentecostal Lead Chaplains serving in a range of specialist fields, the course provides practical insight, theological grounding, and the opportunity to reflect on the role of the chaplain in today’s world. While this is not an accredited course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Course modules include:

  • The whys of workplace visiting
  • Understanding the business you’re visiting
  • Practical skills for workplace chaplains
  • Pastoring—core skills
  • Prophecy for workplace chaplains
  • The relationship between chaplaincy and the local church
  • Working in a multi-faith setting
