Main speakers announced for Elim Leaders Summit 2026

Mark Pugh, Rachel Hickson, Al Gordon, Ruth Ann Cannings and Mike Nicholls will help leaders see more clearly, lead more boldly and respond to God with renewed faith.

Elim Leaders Summit 2026 will gather leaders and ministry teams from across the movement at the Harrogate Convention Centre from 12 to 14 May, centred on the theme Eyes of Faith. In a season marked by noise, distraction and uncertainty, the Summit comes at a vital moment for the Church to lift its eyes again to the King and His kingdom.

Central to the Summit are the Together sessions, held each morning and evening, where the Elim family will gather in worship and expectation. Each session will explore the Apostolic, Prophetic, Evangelistic, Shepherding and Teaching graces, creating space for the Holy Spirit to speak through Scripture, worship, creativity and ministry.

Mark PughThe Summit opens on Tuesday morning with Mark Pugh, General Superintendent of the Elim Pentecostal Churches, speaking on Apostolic Eyes. Setting the vision for the week, Mark will challenge leaders to recognise light in dark places, possibility amid decline and resurrection life where others see only limitation, calling them to discern what God is doing before it becomes visible to everyone else.

Rachael HicksonTuesday evening welcomes Rachel Hickson, founding director of Heartcry for Change and a prophet who serves church networks and denominations across the UK. In Prophetic or Pathetic Ministry?, Rachel will explore how healthy prophetic partnership brings alignment, vision and joy, equipping leaders to journey with confidence, particularly in seasons of redesign and transition.

Al GordonWednesday morning features Al Gordon, rector and leader of SAINT in East London, speaking on Prepare the Way. Sharing stories of hope, faith and love, Al will unpack how Jesus is calling a generation to prepare for awakening, stirring expectation and spiritual hunger across the Church.

Ruth AnnOn Wednesday evening, Ruth Ann Cannings, founder of Arise Ministry, will address pastoral sustainability in Are You Following the Sheep or the Shepherd? Drawing on more than 50 years of ministry experience, Ruth Ann will help leaders refocus on following the Great Shepherd, enabling healthier and more sustainable care that equips others for ministry.

Mike NichollsThe Summit concludes on Thursday morning with Mike Nicholls, senior minister of Birmingham City Church, speaking on Eyes of Faith: Reclaiming Truth in an Anxious Age. Mike will call the Church to see clearly again and to cultivate resilient, truth-shaped communities able to look beyond circumstances with confidence and faith.

Together, these sessions will inspire, equip and refocus leaders, helping them return to their churches with renewed vision, greater clarity and fresh faith for the season ahead.

Are you sitting comfortably? Then I’ll begin...
Storytelling can make preaching more engaging and impactful. When used well, it helps people connect more deeply and see God in a fresh way.
A personal reset
One conference. One hundred leaders. A day that reminded them why they do what they do.
The unusual hunger of the younger generation
We must pray that the young people of Elim emulate Christ rather than fall in the trap of trying to copy other leaders or reliving past movements, argues Michelle Nunn
How life’s unfolded since we graduated
Graduation marks the start of a new journey, as graduates step into ministry, strengthened in faith, equipped for leadership, and guided by God’s calling.
Graduation marks 100th anniversary
It’s always a highlight for students, tutors and their families and friends but last year’s RTC graduation was that little bit extra special
