Graduation
At the end of this month 2 of our girls will graduate from their first year of the Be Free programme. One of the girls will continue working with Elim Cambodia as she will become an intern working in our offices. The other girl is hoping to set up a coffee cart business. She is currently receiving training for making drinks and learning about managing a business. We are proud of both of these girls and we are excited for their bright future.
Updates
Last month 4 of our Be Free girls got baptised. It was a day full of joy for them as they publicly declared their belief in God. We praise God for their lives and for the journey they are on in their faith.
CONGRATULATIONS
Our craft teacher, Srey Mao, recently had a baby boy. Mum and baby are both doing well. We wish Srey Mao health and joy as she enjoys her maternity leave with her family.
Be Free Salon
The salon is continuing to run successfully. Our salon teacher loves training and helping the girls learn the skills required for working in a salon. She also enjoys welcoming new customers and she is building relationships with people from the community mas they continue to visit the salon.
Life skills
Each week our girls continue to learn life skills. They take part in learning a range of different topics. This month we have had visiting teams who have been able to contribute health talks for the girls which have been invaluable.
Thank you
We would like to thank everyone who continues to support the work of Be Free Cambodia. Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated and they are making a difference to the precious girls in Cambodia.
