Visit to the ‘Church on the Way’, Phalombe

Missionary Narkotey and GS Saezi visited this vibrant church. Situated close to a main road and at the foot of the hills, this church has great potential for expansion and they are looking forward to moving into a bigger property by the road. No wonder the Pastor said they are the church on the Way.

Opening a new church in Mbande, Chikwawa Region

The original church was swept away by the last cycle of flooding. But the congregation came together to erect another building on a higher ground. What they need now is help to buy roofing materials.

Opportunities and Challenges

The Elim Pentecostal Churches of Malawi are privileged to be part of our communities and to provide essential services, such as the provision of basic education to some of the underprivileged children, including children in our Orphanages. This has been possible due to the generous giving by our donors. We are grateful for all your support. We, however, have challenges facing some of our churches. Many church buildings were swept away in the latest floods but through self-help the congregations have managed to put up new structures, as with the Mbande church. The main challenge now is getting roofing materials to complete these projects before the rains start. To support us in these areas, kindly go to our site, click on “How to donate” and follow the instructions. May God richly bless you as you support us through your prayers and generous giving.
