ELIM PARTNERS WORK TO SUPPORT COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY TYPHOON TINO
Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi) made landfall on the island of Cebu, Philippines at approx. 2am of the 4th of November 2025. 114 people have lost their lives with 127 still missing. 800,00 people were evacuated and 400,000 have been displaced due to their home being completely washed away or destroyed.
Our Elim Global partners (GEMII), who have regional leaders based in four key areas in the Visayas region, (Danao City, Cebu City, Talisay, and Daan Bantayan), have been mobilized to take emergency packs of food, clothing and tents, to some of the residents of these badly affected areas.
We thank God that all of the members of our Gospel communities have been accounted for, however we still haven’t heard from two pastors that are part of the LECFC ministry in Manila that are based in Danao City.
With our limited funds, we have purchased Rice, noodles, can goods, water, tarpaulin tents and new clothes. The immediate plan is to reach out with the love of Jesus to the Gospel communities in each of these regions and also local communities. After this, we will ascertain what can be done longer term.
Any prayer and financial support at this time would be greatly appreciated.
